I have done some research on the position, but haven't talked to anyone who actually does it. I was wondering if it would be something I could do. I'm looking for a generalized answer about the job for an entry level position. Whats the training like? How easy is it to get fired? Do you work more than they pay you? should I try to get in at a major company or just be thankful to get hired anywhere in the business? I know there are different types of claims adjusters...and of course I would be entry level on any type/field of a claims adjuster position. I have seen some health care plans for $100 a month and up, but I can't afford that. Hi, I am interested in people's views of the following: A friends daughter is 17 and last Friday passed her driving test to much family celebration. She went out driving to see her friends, grandparents, and to get some experience. On the Monday the family tried to get insurance quotes but hadn't made a decision on which one to go with until Tuesday. Tuesday lunch she went out with three girlfriends and lost control of her car. No-one was seriously hurt but there are some stiff necks, bumps and bruises. She rolled the car after losing control over a hump back bridge. No other vehicles were involved but her own car is written off. The Police were called and paramedics. She is still on Provisional Insurance as the call hadn't been made to change the insurance, mum and dad were just moving money about so they can pay. The Police say she wasn't speeding just lacked experience and was taken by surprise on the road in question in the rain. So the questions for them are: 1. What is the legal position? Neither parent is concerned about making an insurance claim or anything like that. It was one of those awful moments in life and they are not interested in the value of the car just the welfare of the girls. 2. What does she have to present to the Police - I think they said that she would have to present her licence? 3. Do the parents have to tell the insurance company if they don't intend to claim? They are very honest people but don't want to do anything that would unnecessarily impact their daughters ability to move forward. 4. What should they do going forward with her? They would like to get her over the situation by putting her on the road again as they believe that she is a safe driver and has just been very unlucky. So my car was parked in-front of a SUV Lexus in a parking lot. Then, i left my friend's house and started to drive. I got a ticket for not having endurance but the car i was driving (my dads) does. Can i just show proof of insurance to get the ticket off or does the insurance have to say my name in order to be taken off? Example:: In that case how do you explain road tests at the dps for driving license? They ask for insurance of the car your testing in but clearly its not in your name since you don't have a license yet they let you drive it. What happens in case of an accident? Will it not be covered since the person behind the wheel is not in the document? Can i take off the ticket or not? Or is car insurance all about the person behind the wheel? Isn't it supposed to be for the car no matter who is driving? Please explain if i got it all wrong and have to pay the ticket

Can't find No fault insurance?

I am looking online and I can't find any site that will give me a quote on no fault auto insurance. Everyone I go to is full coverage and I don't want that. I would say I'm pretty good at finding things online but yahoo or google searches are not giving me the sites I want. Only a few are. Since you can't find no-fault, it looks like you don't live in one of the few no-fault states. This does not answer my question at all not even 1% of it.

Leaving saga car insurance due to high renewal quote so would like to know another over 50's car insurer..?

I have just received his renewal quote which is around 90 a month more than last year and Saga claimed they do a price match guarantee. My circumstances are still they same as they was last year. Nothing has changed for me or the second driver on the policy. Any way I have been in contact with Saga for the past few days providing the details they requested for price match and they don't seem to want to price match the competitive quote I received from the co-operative car insurance. The quote is decent, cheaper than Saga even when I add on extras such as courtesy car and we have also provided details for them to log in and see the quote and all details they requested for themselves but for some reason they want to stick with their high renewal quote.
